And so we were back in the Netherlands by July 16th, for Rest and Recuperation! Our garden looks good and has been taken care of!
Great to see Meike and Joost with their partners again, but of course a bit of adjustment towards each other and towards living together in one house was needed. 
We do enjoy being able to have lunch and breakfast and supper in the garden again!
Joost and Emmy 
Robert and I had quite a tight programme of seeing friends and family, as originally we would have only three weeks for that. We saw the newborn babies in the family; went to the seaside in Zeeland to see my sister and her partner Jan; 
We worked quite hard, cleaning the house and garden, throwing away all the things that suddenly appeared to be rubbish.
We visited Lindsay in England
and caught a glimpse of the Olympic sailing at Weymouth.
Jelleke caught up with her Hestiagroup and individual friends and spends a lot of time with her poarents, of course .
Since Monday august 6 it is ‘back to work’ again. The project in Uzbekistan continues, so Robert will go there as soon as he has his visa, probably by the end of August. I will follow by September 20st, as I still have a lot of appointments and work in the NL for my book about sustainable agriculture.
